Great experience here. I actually went with another mobile locksmith to get a new key fob set, but got bait and switched on some pricing (they charge a lot extra for the mobile part). And the mobile one couldn't even cut my Mazda key. Came here to get the key cut and asked how much they would have charged to set the key fob and it was $50 cheaper than the mobile service charged and they cut the key for 13 bucks. I also accidentally left my registration and insurance on the counter, and they just mailed it to me. I see some other negative reviews about customer service, but I'd give it a 10/10 in my book.

After my VW car key snapped. I called around to a few different locksmith’s and kept getting “no” and “we won’t do it”. Until I get to them. They actually explain why they arent so easy to do and it’s a VW thing. Then they asked if I can come down to see if they can do anything to help me now. I get there, they can’t help immediately but give me many tips and what my next steps should be. Links to key fobs, VW numbers etc.

Admittedly, I cheap out. I buy 2/3 sets off Amazon. Thinking I can fix it myself. Which I can’t so I go back to them. And again. They show and explain what they can and can’t do. And how they cannot help. And explain what I could do next.

I finally gave in and got a key and programmed at a VW dealer. However they’ve been nothing but helpful throughout the process. Very transparent, even in times they can’t help they try their best. Would recommend. I didn’t even get a key from them, yet I’m still rating 5 stars.

I needed a key roughly 50 years old to be duplicated and no one else could do this but Locksmith Center. I sent them an e-mail with a photo of both sides of the key and they said to come in and they could copy as many as I needed that day. They were excellent, quick, courteous, and informative. I was grateful!
