Redford Safe & Lock

Redford Safe & Lock was started by Jack Bates in 1973. After working in the safe industry at Howard Safe and then at Dearborn Safe & Lock as a co-owner, he decided to start his own company and named it Redford Safe & Lock. Then some years later Jack bought Howard Safe Co. and moved it to his location. Now Redford Safe & Lock is owned and managed by Jack’s son Alan and grandson Aaron.

 

In the last few years, Redford Safe & Lock has acquired Cutler Safe & Lock, Mt Clemens Lock & Key (122 S Main St Mount Clemens, MI 48043), Dearborn Safe & Lock (5504 Schaefer Rd Dearborn, MI 48126), Rick’s Eastside (22206 Van Dyke, Warren, MI 48089), and Mikey’s Lock & Key! (1401 Gratiot Ave Detroit, MI 48207)
