Jaguar XJ8, 2004. Very weird key. 417 Car Keys was able to cut it and program it! Nobody else could do it, except the Jaguar dealer, and they were much more expensive of course. Jesse was the key technician who figured out it could be done over the phone, and then he went the extra mile to make it actually happen, when I arrived after a 2 hour drive. I highly recommend 417 Car Keys!
417 car keys was great! Once I called, they got back to me very quickly with a price quote and let me know when to come by. Their customer service was excellent! Jesse was quick, informative, and helpful! I was in & out of there in less than 20 minutes! Highly recommend to anyone needing a new key!
I lost a fob a couple of days before we were scheduled to leave on a cross country trip. The next day I took an extra fob that had been programmed for a different car, but the same brand, to a key and lock company who could program fobs.
They told me you couldn't re-program a fob to a different car once it was used and they didn't have a new fob I needed. But they were nice enough to recommend 417 Car Keys. To my delight, 417 Car Keys was able to re-program my extra fob, saving me money and got it done before we had to leave.
