Ave’s Lock and Key

I have used Ave’s Lock and Key several times over the years and they never seem to disappoint. I recently had a very special late-90’s oem Dodge key cut and, well… lets just say accidents happen, but…. this is where Ave’s stepped up. The key being cut slipped in the machine and way too much of it was cut, making it useless. Ave’s whole team worked together to find a solution, and together, they made things right, instead of telling me to go pound sand, like some local businesses are known for. I now have a freshly cut “unicorn” key that works, which they covered this time around. $31.75 plus the fee for cutting it, isn’t going to make or break me, but it is simply the principle of the matter. I give Ave’s a HUGE thumbs up and will continue to keep using them, as well as recommend them to anyone that needs an honest local shop!!👍👍👍

Had an issue with my car keys andwent to Aves after the dealership told me i needed a new ignition cylinder. The problem was the key wasnt unlocking my passenger door and trunk. It was, however unlocking my drivers door and starting my car. Alexas ( not sure of the spelling) couldnt have been more attentive and understanding and immediately made me feel at ease. And Ave was very patient explaining to me what I needed to know. At the end, i was fixed and out the door for about 90% less than the dealer quote.

Upon needing a 3rd quality padlock to match our already 2 keyed-alike padlocks (on a high security key blank), I was able to simply drop a copy of my key with my request. That was all that was needed. Tho we were in no rush, our lock was pinned up and waiting for us on our very next trip as we popped back up town! The lock, with new keys, did not cost as much as we expected considering the cylinder and key were both high security and the time at the bench for the tech. Additionally, I was able to get legal documents notarized at the very same visit and that made my stop even more productive. I was able to cross both off my list during the same visit. The counter staff were very friendly and easy to work with and I recommend Ave's all the time. Thank you for the convenience!
