Been dealing with locksmith in Mobile,Al for a month trying to get lock cylinder changed on my truck and rekeyed to use my existing key just keep getting the run-around.called KeyShoppe,they had the cylinder. I had to come to Slidell anyway.in Hour they had changed the cylinder,doorhandle,keyed to fit my existing key,made me two spares and key fob.Thanks Tiffany for the good work.

I needed a key for my motorhome and lost the originals. At the Mandeville location, Macie was able to make me a key. She was such a great help and persistent until she was happy with the fit. I cannot express how thankful I am for her great customer service!

The service and customer service is top notch here. If you need car keys or remotes, this is the place to get it done fast at a very fair price. Bought a new car from dealer ship that did not have the remote, these guys did it for 1/2 the price the dealership wanted tp charge and only took 10 minutes.
Another time, my father in law inhearted a motorscotor that had lost keys, I brought them the igintion and they made a key that works.

Terrible company, DO NOT get programmable keys done here!!!!

I brought in some blanks purchased from another locksmith (who lacked the software to pre code the keys but referred me to these folks to finish the job ) and a working key for my van. They charged me full price to program and cut the keys as if I had bought the blank from them. As she was cutting the keys she made me sign a waiver saying that if the keys did not work that they would not be responsible as they were not their blanks, but had I bought the keys from her...I would have had guarantees.

Then the problem occurred: The tech could not get one of the blanks to work and seemed very confused. She said she needed to disconnect my battery to finish...she completed her task and came back with a key that worked and a key that she said did not work but said I still had to pay full price...but the kicker was somehow she also managed to make my original key no longer function, and now my check engine light was also coming on. When I complained about the broken key, the owner showed up threw the keys at me, got in my face to intimidate me and physically threatened me. No refunds, no fixed key and I only had the same number of working keys I came in with despite being billed $217. Thieves.

After a week of calling and waiting for 3 other companies (all recommended) to get back to me, I found Key Shoppe on Google. The basics are... the phone was answered promptly, an appointment was set for the same day, the tech was on time, the work was finished without issue, and the price was fair.
BUT... I want to add, the lady that answered the phone (Tiffany, I think) was so polite and friendly. I think she could tell I was a little exasperated from the other companies. She set up the appointment immediately. I didn't have to wait for a call back.
Also, I want to commend Randy Davis the lock tech who arrived on time, was both professional and friendly, offered me several options, explained everything, and finished his work with a smile.
The pricing was very reasonable, especially given the fact another company quoted me $10 for each copy of a key!!!
I am impressed by the work, the pricing, and the customer service I received. This will be my go-to locksmith, and I will happily recommend them to my family, friends, and business associates. Great job!

Scott with KeyShoppe was awesome. Very professional and approachable. Called after hours and with no hesitation came to help get old key out ignition and made new copy of keys to truck. Definitely recommend Scott . Other locksmiths wouldn’t come due to vehicle being an older model.
