I was here to get an FOB & keys for my 2006 RX8. The shop has advanced laser-pattern tracer for physical keys, but even with the technology the key was difficult to shape. I was here for a couple of hours, but despite their expertise the FOB & keys could not be programmed. Being an airline mechanic myself, it was understandable (no single tech knows everything nor can they fix everything).

They didn’t charge me a penny. They’re also popular & trusted so that many customers came by while I was there. I really appreciated their honesty and trying their best to help me out.

Next day, I went to Sentry West Mazda. Even they had difficulty programming the FOB & keys, and they couldn’t program the FOB either. Mazda has over-engineered these systems to the point where even a dealer couldn’t get it done.

So, Locks & Keys Inc is a great business but if you need an FOB or keys programmed for Mazda, you may want to go straight to your nearest Mazda dealer.

These guys are fantastic. I've brought keys here over the years that were too old/large/unique to fit in one of the box box store automated machines. They always do a great job at a reasonable price. I even lost a key and was able to bring in the key cylinder for Cam to create me a new key from scratch. He got it done in a few hours for a very reasonable price. This is my go-to place for any locksmith needs

Great service! I bought a lock from Lowe’s and they can’t even rekey their own stuff any longer. I looked online and saw the store was across the street in the shopping plaza. I came to find out that it had been in the same place for decades only moving slightly when the mall was demolished. I fully expected that a rekey of my Schlage smart lock and a new copy of the key would be fairly expensive. Was it? NO! The price was not only reasonable but was absolutely in line with what I thought I would need to pay if Lowe’s still did it. Now I’m really glad that Lowe’s couldn’t do it because now it was done correctly by a pro instead of by someone who maybe knew what they were doing. Will go back if I ever need this done again!
