Redford Lock always comes through with our door and security needs for my company. From fixing things worth fixing to making recommendations on replacements for added security or when something really is end of life and needs to be upgraded. I trust their recommendations and that means a lot with a valued vendor.
I had non-standard car keys for my specific need. So, I brought my own blank keys to this location. Dave & Thomas consulted me well initially so I well understood some challenges with the keys and decided to bring back the disassembled blades. A day later, I brought the blades and Dave cut the keys. What amazed me was Dave remembered what Thomas had promised me a day ago. Thomas also tested the blades for me. It was a small-cost job, but they handled it very professionally. I wish the best to this business!
I needed a new key cut and programmed for my 2025 car. I called and dealt with Thomas, and he was very professional from start to finish. If you need anything done with keys- call these guys. I called around 5 different locksmiths and these guys were the cheapest at $85, the next cheapest was $150 and the highest was $395
So happy I found this place! Awesome locksmith location with truly professional, friendly, and helpful employees—both on the phone and in person. Scheduling an appointment (with Thomas) was easy, and the service was quick and affordable. This place is an excellent alternative to the car dealership if you don’t want to spend a fortune making a duplicate car key. They also handle house keys (that actually work! —after wasting 2 trips to ACE Hardware) and even sell safes (to keep your documents protected in case of fire, flooding, etc.). Overall, great service, fair pricing, and a very knowledgeable team. Highly recommended! Located in Novi, MI.
