When it comes locks and duplicate keys, it pays to use professionals. I discovered this when I was referred to Rex Key & Security after having problems (yet again) with duplicate keys from Home Depot and other hardware stores. I was helped by Josh who is not only knowledgeable but also fast and efficient. On my most recent visit (a weekday around 3 pm), I needed a lock rekeyed plus 4 duplicate keys - I was in and out in about 10 minutes. And on a previous visit I needed a duplicate key for a lock made in China that I purchased online for a rental apartment. After talking with Josh about the key, I discovered one reason why this lock was so inexpensive - matching blank keys for the lock are not available in the US apparently. However, Josh was able to customize a different blank key, which worked perfectly saving me much time and money by helping me avoid replacing the lock. Going forward I’m buying my locks and keys from Rex as it saves me time and hassles by getting what I need the first time.

I’ve helped manage a few offices and warehouses in the last 18 months and often need to get spare keys made for myself and others. The folks at Rex are always super polite and efficient, and, although co-workers of mine have had issues with keys they have gotten made elsewhere, I have never had issues with any of the 50+ keys I’ve had made at Rex!

Terrific experience! Josh Patton Brown took got me in and out quickly with two new FOBs, making sure everything worked perfectly. He thoughtfully explained the keying process and why some of my OEM keys would work and others wouldn’t. 5 star experience
