SCV Lock and Key

What an incredible job! I have a very expensive front door lock that was broken when we bought the house and hasn't worked since. It got to a point where it was hard to enter & exit...
I called SCV and Matt came out the same day. Provided me with a great quote and even offered for me to find the lock as it's expensive.
He handled everything! Ordered the lock directly from manufacturer and once it came in, he showed up the same day and installed it. He even took the liberty of adjusting the dummy knob to ensure everything is perfect! Highly recommend! :)

Been coming here every few years to make duplicates of house keys whenever I move or change out locks. The gentleman there is always welcoming, kind, professional and quick with service. I now live in Palmdale and still make the trip down to Newhall. Been to a few other locksmiths in the AV and they just dont compare. More

Several times I have called to verify they are open and the hours, drive straight there and there's a closed sign in the window. Come back a few hours later and still closed. Maybe let the customer know youre about to head out when you say you'll be there. Has happened more than a couple times.

After my bad experience with these guys, I did receive a phone call from someone reaching wishing to apologize and make amends. I feel it’s only fair to also mention their effort to follow up with me instead of jut taking it as a failed experience to a customer. The person who called was very kind and understanding. So I feel it’s only fair to boost up my review. Still not totally a five star since I still can’t speak for the quality of their actual service as locksmiths.
